Firefighters, Police, EMT / Paramedic Verification:
GM will be utilizing First Responder ID (ID.me) to verify program eligibility criteria is met for Firefighters (paid or volunteer), Police — including Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff's Deputy, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers — EMTs/Paramedic. Once verified they will be able to obtain an Authorization Code for the discount. Bring your authorization code and a copy of your driver's license to the dealership.
911 Dispatch Verification:
911 Dispatchers will create an account at www.gmfirstrepsonder.com by clicking on https://www.gmfirstresponderappreciation.com/sign-in-notice Once they have created an account they will be able to receive their Authorization Code. Bring your authorization code and a copy of your driver's license to the dealership. You will also need to provide a copy of a valid and current year 911 training and education document, or 911 card that contains the Participant's full name.

Does the dealer need to verify the GM First Responder discount using any specific verification documents?
Firefighters/Police/EMTs/Paramedics must be verified through GM First Responder ID (ID.me). Customers must present a valid authorization number and a copy of their driver's license. 911 Dispatchers must sign up on the program site and provide a valid 911 training document or 911 card and their driver's license at purchase.
Can the GM First Responder share the discount?
